Care For Your Bag

You are a proud owner of a Praccessorii fashion piece. We aim to meld elegance with purpose and to put in your hands a product that gives you luxurious pleasure. To this end we put in a lot in terms of the finest materials, intense quality sifting processes, thorough and gentle finishes. Crystals are singled out with acute keenness. We ardently pick the nicest hues, tints and shades to fill up those meticulous designs.

So here is an easy list of dos and don’ts to help care for, clean and make your prized possession retain its sparkle and look fresh and good for a long period of time.

Storage

Always preserve your bag in the original packing. Preferably store in an air-tight box so that the item is not damaged.

Store away from heat in a cool dry place. Keep away from harsh sunlight or extreme temperatures.

Cleaning

Polish your bags / accessories with a soft cloth on a regular basis to retain its lustre.

Use only soft surfaces to clean your crystal bags / accessories. Soft, lint free cloth will eliminate any chances of scratches. Firm cotton pads will be good. But avoid loose cotton balls since fine ravelings and short fibres strands can get entangled
It is a good practice to occasionally clean the clutch and accessories with a soft cloth. A little maintenance will keep your clutch looking new and fresh for a longer period.
Avoid any harsh cleaners.

Bags are to Drycleaned only.

Care for Your Jewellery

Clean your jewellery after every use. After every use clean your jewellery with a soft cloth to remove the oil and grime that would have stuck to it .The best way to clean your jewellery is with a jewellery polishing cloth. Rub gently in a lengthwise motion. Be careful not to pull hard on any joints or clasps as they could get damaged during cleaning.

A simple way to clean unstudded silver jewellery is to soak the jewellery in a mixture of hot water and soda bicarb for 10 minutes.Use a soft brush to to scrub away the tarnish that has accumulated. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Please do not attempt to clean polki, kundan, minakari and stone studded jewellery in this manner.

Never dip any silver jewellery in ‘dip’ solutions or commercial cleaning solutions even though it may say that it is for silver jewellery. Dip cleaners will work the first few times, but after that, the silver jewellery may change colour and will never look the same.

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place. Silver tarnishes when exposed to air, so it’s a good idea to keep your silver in airtight zip lock plastic bags, or covered in a cloth enclosed in an airtight container when not in use. This will help slow down the tarnishing process and protect your jewellery from scratching. Also, keep it separately from your other accessories as silver jewellery gets scratched easily.

Remove your jewellery when swimming and taking a shower. Always remove your jewellery before using any product that contains bleach, ammonia, alcohol, fingernail polish removers that contain acetone, and turpentine. Some of these can cause a breakdown in the metal alloys leaving your jewellery beyond repair.

Avoid any contact with perfumes, hair sprays, make-up, body creams and lotions and oils
Avoid any hard contact, like knocking against objects or dropping, that can scratch or chip the gemstones.

Care for Your Stoles/Scarves/Wraps

Cashmere, pashmina, fine wool and silk shawls and stoles are sensitive products and must be handled with care for them to have a long life. We advise dry cleaning them and  not washing at home, as they are too fine to take any kind of wringing or rubbing.

It;s a good idea to wrap cashmere, pashmina ,fine wool and silk shawls or stoles and stored in a muslin cloth or in a protective case. Storing them  in plastic covers is not advisable as it may lead to lint or balling of loose yarns on the top surface.
